She created her first website in 1992 for the Open University and is experienced with Windows Servers, SQL Server, HTML, Classic ASP, JavaScript, and CSS and uses her knowledge and experience to create, maintain and enhance YourPCM which is a personal contact manager exclusively for UK small business owners.
Prior to building YourPCM, she spent the past 10 years working on her own digital marketing platform called Steffi/CMS that puts blogging at the very heart of your online world.
Apart from writing and editing blog posts, it includes social media automation and HTML mailers and has been refined and automated so that one person can support many, many blogging clients and give them a very high-quality, timely service.
She started automating her digital marketing platform when she was first diagnosed with a brain aneurysm in 2012, knowing things were about to get very painful. After 8 hours of brain surgery, she was able to relax and recover for the following few months whilst not interrupting client workflows thanks to her prior efforts.
She was even more grateful for her good thinking when she was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (a rather nasty form of cancer) in 2014 as she was full of chemo, radiation and morphine for months. All that prior hard work and effort paid off and kept the business going.
Steffi is very glad to say that apart from some damage to her left eye due to the aneurysm and some ongoing thyroid issues because of cancer, she's happy and healthy and signed off by her consultants.
She's also worked as a professional photographer in Los Angeles, USA and been a Vision Mixer and Channel Producer for live television in her time. Steffi lives in a village north of Milton Keynes with her two cats, Baggins and Gimley, and a large planted aquarium full of unruly tropical fish.
