When we come across YouTube tutorials detailing manual prospecting on Google, we can't help, but shudder. The time commitment seems utterly inefficient, and we can't imagine sustaining such a tedious exercise day in, day out.
Sure, you could always delegate the task to a Virtual Assistant, but the bill for their time spent on such a laborious task would be rather steep. Whether you do it yourself or outsource it, prospecting on Google can easily take up to 10 hours a week if you're chasing a target.

You'd head over to Google Search or Google Maps, input a profession and a location, and then note down the details of each business that appears. This information would then be transferred to a spreadsheet. Subsequently, you'd visit each business' website, switching back and forth between it and your spreadsheet, to copy and paste items such as email addresses and phone numbers.
If an email address proves elusive, you'd erase that row and persist until you've compiled a list of (let's say) 50 potential new businesses to contact. Finally, you'd have to draft an email and manually send them out individually.
