How everyone else does prospecting vs how you do it with YourPCM!
We can't help but cringe when we come across YouTube videos demonstrating manual prospecting on Google; it just seems like such a complete waste of time, and a soul-destroying exercise. We wonder how people are supposed to keep up with it day after day, week in, week out?
Yes, you can always delegate to your Virtual Assistant, but then you're running up a massive bill for their time doing it for you. Either way, you're spending a lot of time, and money, prospecting on Google and that can run up to 10 hours a week if you're trying to hit a target.
"This is how you're prospecting right now!"
You'd go to Google Search or Google Maps, type in a profession and a location, then grab the details for each business that came up and paste them into your spreadsheet. You'd then jump onto their website and switch between it and your spreadsheet, copying and pasting things like an email address and phone number.
If you can't find an email address, you'd delete that row and try again and again until you got (let's say) 50 potential new businesses to reach out to. Then you'd need to compose an email and then paste their email address and send them individually.
